Getting started with Zoom Phone appliances

Get a simple and compact desk phone experience with Zoom Phone Appliances. From the Zoom Phone Appliance user interface, users can create, join, start and manage Zoom meetings, search for contacts, place calls, transfer calls, access voicemail and make multi-line calls.

Sign in to Zoom Phone appliances

Sign up with email

Tap Sign in, and then tap Sign in with email.

Note:

SSO-enabled accounts cannot be signed in via email.

Sign in with the pairing code

  1. Once you tap Sign In, a pairing code will appear.
  2. You can sign in with your Zoom account by going to https://zoom.us/pair and clicking the Sign In button.
  3. Select or create the room after entering the pairing code.
  4. Then click Done.
    The Zoom Phone appliance confirms the login.
  5. Sign up by clicking Yes, it’s me.

Device management for Zoom Phone appliances

Application and platform upgrades can be handled through Zoom Device Management (ZDM) for Zoom Phone appliances.

Zoom Phone appliance settings

In Zoom Phone Appliances, users have the ability to change meeting and phone settings. For more information, see the Zoom Phone Appliance User Guide.

Troubleshooting

There will be a future release that fixes the following issues:

  • Zoom Phone appliances do not support integrating Bluetooth contacts from a mobile device into an appliance.
  • It is not possible to monitor monitored lines.
  • It is not possible to send SMS messages from Zoom Phone devices.
  • It’s possible to reduce the size of the Zoom app during a live call by tapping Minimize on the More options screen. The Zoom app can be accessed by swiping down from the top of the screen to access it again.
