How to configure Meeting Connector for 1:1 NAT Zoom

With a 1:1 NAT configuration, you can configure the Meeting Connector (MC) controller to communicate with an external IP address using a 1:1 NAT configuration.

Note: SSL encryption is enabled on all servers to provide the highest level of security.

One Meeting Connector Controller (350 participants)

Example network information:

  • Internal IP address for ZC: 10.100.124.238
  • External IP address assigned to ZC: 173.288.57.204
  • Internal IP address for MMR: 10.100.124.237
  • External IP address assigned to MMR: 173.288.57.203

Example firewall setup for 1:1 NAT:

  • ZC: 173.228.57.204 > 10.100.124.238
  • MMR: 173.288.57.203 > 10.100.124.237

Example controller configuration:

Two Meeting Connector Controllers (700 participants)

Here is an example of the information you need to know about your network:

There are two zone controllers in this system:

  • Internal IP address for ZC: 10.100.124.238
  • External IP address assigned to ZC: 173.288.57.204
  • Internal IP address for MMR: 10.100.124.237
  • External IP address assigned to MMR: 173.288.57.203

A second zone controller was installed

  • Internal IP address for ZC: 10.100.124.236
  • External IP address assigned to ZC: 173.288.57.202
  • Internal IP address for MMR: 10.100.124.235
  • External IP address assigned to MMR: 173.288.57.201

The following is an example firewall configuration for 1:1 NAT:

  • ZC-1: 173.228.57.204 > 10.100.124.238
  • MMR-1: 173.288.57.203 > 10.100.124.237
  • ZC-2: 173.228.57.202 > 10.100.124.236
  • MMR-2: 173.288.57.201 > 10.100.124.235

An example of the configuration of Controller 1 is as follows:

Using the example of controller 2, the following configuration is possible:
