How to configure Zoom credentials for Salesforce

For account owners and admins, the Zoom integration with Salesforce documentation explains how to use the features and how to install, configure, and troubleshoot the Zoom integration with Salesforce.

Prerequisites for configuring Zoom credentials

  • Desktop client for Zoom, version 5.8.3 or higher
  • To use Zoom for Salesforce, you need version 3.19 or later

How to configure Zoom credentials

The following steps should be followed to configure Zoom credentials:

  1. To get the Zoom API Key and Zoom API Secret, do the following:
    1. As an account administrator, you must log in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. You can access the App Marketplace by clicking Advanced in the navigation menu.
    3. Click Develop in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click Create App.
    4. Please agree to Zoom’s API License and Terms of Service by clicking the button below.
    5. If you want to view the API key
      • For existing JWT apps, you can view the API key and secret by clicking the link below.
      • The API key and secret can be generated by creating a new key and secret. If you don’t want to finish building the new app, you don’t have to.
    6. You need to click on the App Credentials tab.
    7. You need to copy the API secret and API key.
  2. As an administrator, you must log in to Salesforce.
  3. Access Zoom Config by going to the App Launcher and clicking on it.
  4. Your Zoom API Key and Zoom API Secret must be pasted into the appropriate Zoom API Key and Zoom API Secret fields.
  5. Then click the Save button.
