Using masks during class is a great idea to prevent listeners from getting bored or even falling asleep during the lecture. In this article we will show you how to apply a mask in Zoom on a computer and why you cannot use it on your phone.
How to create a mask in Zoom
To enable the mask in Zoom, you need to download Snap Camera from Google or Yandex. Further:
Download the application;
On the website you need to check the box to familiarize yourself with the rules and that you are not a robot. Email can be omitted if you don’t want to receive various notifications and mailing lists. Then select your computer’s operating system and download for Mac or Windows.
Once Snap Camera is installed, open the app and select a filter. Next, open Zoom, start a conference, or join one that’s already started. The last Snap Camera selected in the app will be displayed.
How to use masks
To turn the filter on or off in Zoom, you must:
- During the lesson, click the arrow next to the camera icon;
- To use zoom without a mask, select the PC camera. It can be a built-in device and to apply filters select the snapshot camera.
On the phone

Filters for zoom
