How to use a payment card to buy a ticket for Zoom events

Credit or debit cards can be used to purchase tickets for Zoom events. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can pay for event tickets with a credit card or debit card.

As part of your Zoom Events account, you can also securely store credit card and debit card information.

Requirements for using a payment card to purchase a ticket

• Zoom Desktop Client:
  • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Mac OS: 5.7.6 or later
• Mobile Zoom client
  • iOS: 5.7.6 or later
  • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
• Simple user

Remarks:

• Although version 5.7.6 supports Zoom Events, it may cause attendees to experience an empty lobby experience due to a dependency with Windows’ Webview package.
• Please update your Zoom desktop client/mobile application to the latest version to access Zoom events and webinar functionality.

How to buy tickets for Zoom events for the first time

You can store up to two payment cards in your Zoom Events account.

A Save this payment method for future use option will appear when you select your payment method if you don’t have a payment card saved to your Zoom Events account. Your Zoom Events account will be saved when you select this option.

Pay with a new debit or credit card

Selecting a new debit or credit card will result in the following:

1. Cardholder name and information must be entered.
2. If you want to save this payment method for future use, select the Save this payment method for future use check box.
   Note:
3. Your Zoom Events account will be updated once you select this option.
4. Click the Pay button.
   On the button you will see the total amount.

Pay with a saved debit or credit card

Selecting a saved debit or credit card will result in the following:

1. Enter the CVC number of the payment card.
2. Pay by clicking the button.
   The button shows the total amount.

Pay with a debit or credit card through PayPal

If you select a debit or credit card (Powered by PayPal) as your payment method, you will be redirected to PayPal’s checkout page:

1. Please enter the information required for your credit/debit card.
2. The billing address must be entered here.
3. The information you provide will be used to get in touch with you.
4. Please click the Continue as Guest button to continue.

How to buy tickets after the initial purchase with a credit card

Adding a credit card to your Zoom Events account streamlines and simplifies the ticket purchasing process. This can be done either during the ordering process or manually.

Pay with a saved debit or credit card

If you have saved a payment card, you will see the following:

1. Enter the CVC number of the payment card.
2. Click the Pay button.
   On the button you will see the total amount.
