How to use the Vimeo chatbot in the Zoom app

How to install from the Zoom Marketplace

  1. If you’re logged in as a Zoom admin, you’ll see the Zoom Marketplace under your Zoom account.
  2. You can find the Vimeo app by searching for Vimeo and clicking the icon.
  3. If the app isn’t already pre-approved, you can pre-approve it.
  4. You can add an app by clicking Add, confirming app permissions, and then selecting Authorize:
    Zoom chat app for Vimeo is now available for all users in Zoom account and you can see a success page.

Once the app has been installed, you can find it under the APPS section in the left pane of the left pane of the Zoom chat tab.

How to connect and configure the Vimeo chatbot

  1. From the desktop client’s Zoom Chat tab, you can navigate to the Vimeo channel once you’ve installed the Vimeo app from the Zoom Marketplace.
  2. Send a message to connect by typing connect and sending
    A link will be sent to you from the Vimeo chat application to authenticate your account with Vimeo.
  3. To authenticate your account with Vimeo, please click on the link below.
  4. If authorization is successful, a success message will appear in the Zoom chat window, as well as a success message on the website.
