Maximum ticket capacity for Zoom Events
In order for the event to sell event tickets, you must have a Zoom Events license that allows attendees to attend your event. Regardless of how many attendees your Zoom Meetings license allows, your ticketing capacity for Zoom Events is not dependent on how many attendees your Zoom Meetings license allows.
Additionally, the number of sessions in a Zoom Event is equal to the number of sessions in the Zoom Events license. In a webinar or meeting session hosted by an event host who has a Zoom Events 1,000 license, they can have up to 1,000 participants in their session. Even if the host has a Zoom Events license greater than 1,000, a meeting session has a maximum capacity of 1,000 participants, regardless of how many participants the host has.
Note: Regarding the capacity of a meeting, when a meeting is scheduled outside of Zoom Events, the capacity may be determined by the Zoom Meeting license capacity.
Ticket capacity is determined by the number of special roles and attendees attending the event.
Example:
- You can sell 1,000 event tickets with your Zoom Events license, but you can only sell 500 tickets with your meetings license. Therefore, you can sell 1,000 tickets for both Zoom event types – individual session and conference.
- The maximum number of attendees you can have in your Zoom Events license is 500 and the maximum number of attendees you can have in your Zoom Meetings license is 1,000, so your event ticket capacity is for both Zoom event types – individual sessions – is available and conferences – will only be 500.
