Payment Methods for Attendees of Zoom Events
PayPal Express Checkout or credit/debit cards are accepted for payments with Zoom Events. Different payment options may be available depending on the host.
During the checkout process, you’ll see either or both of the following payment methods, depending on what the host has enabled:

Requirements for payment methods for participants
- Zoom Desktop Client:
- Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
- Mac OS: 5.7.6 or later
- Mobile Zoom client
- iOS: 5.7.6 or later
- Android: 5.7.6 or higher
- Simple user
Remarks:
- Although version 5.7.6 supports Zoom Events, it may cause attendees to experience an empty lobby experience due to a dependency with Windows’ Webview package.
- Please update your Zoom desktop client/mobile application to the latest version to access Zoom events and webinar functionality.
How to buy a ticket
Note:
For a paid event, the registration process and sales address must be completed before entering the payment method.

Buy ticket after the first time
The process of purchasing a ticket will be easier and more convenient if you have a payment method saved in your Zoom Events account during the ordering process.
How to add payment methods to your Zoom Events account
Payment methods can be added and/or saved in your account to make the ordering process quicker and easier.
A maximum of two payment cards can be stored in your account.
You can add payment cards by:
- when you check out
- You can access your billing information by visiting your account’s billing page
Save a payment card during the checkout process
If you want to save this payment method for future purchases, you have the option during the ordering process. If you select this option, your Zoom Events account will save the payment method used at checkout.
Add a payment card in the billing section of your account
Your account can be linked to a payment card as follows:
- Zoom Events can be accessed by logging in.
- To view your profile picture, click on the picture in the top right corner.
- To view attendee payments and billing, click Attendee Payments and Billing.
- To add a credit/debit card, click + Add payment method manager.
- Enter the cardholder’s name and credit card information.
- Save the changes.
- The billing address of the card must be entered under billing address.
- Save the file.
Link a PayPal account
Your PayPal account can be added as follows:
- You can access Zoom Events by logging in.
- You can find your profile picture at the top right of the page.
- For attendee payments and billing, see Attendee Payments and Billing.
- Under Payment method management, click + Link PayPal account.
PayPal will redirect you to their website. - Connect your PayPal account to Zoom Events by following the instructions and entering the required information.
Your Zoom Events account billing page will appear after you link a PayPal account.
How to manage payment methods
Remove a saved map
Your saved maps can be removed as follows:
- Zoom Events can be accessed by logging in.
- To access your profile picture, click on the picture in the top right corner.
- For attendee payments and billing, see Attendee Payments and Billing.
- You can delete a card by clicking the ellipsis in the top right corner.
- Remove the card by clicking on it.
Unlink a PayPal Account
PayPal accounts can be segregated as follows:
- Sign up for Zoom Events.
- You can find the profile picture at the top right of the page.
- Attendee payments and billing can be accessed by clicking this link.
- To delete a card, click on the ellipses in the top right corner.
- Select the PayPal account you want to remove.
