Using Voice Commands in Zoom Rooms
In Zoom Rooms, users can perform basic functions through voice commands instead of using touchscreens. Users can easily take advantage of this feature by issuing voice commands directly from Zoom Rooms using the native voice engine.

Requirements for enabling and using Voice Commands for Zoom Rooms
- Zoom Rooms version 5.7.0 or later is recommended
- Account owner, account admin, or any role with edit access to the Zoom Rooms
How to enable voice commands for Zoom Rooms
- You can access the Zoom web portal by logging in.
- Then under Room Management, click Zoom Rooms.
- In Zoom Rooms, you can enable voice commands based on location hierarchy, account hierarchy, or room hierarchy. In this example, click Account Settings.
- Select “Zoom” in the “Meeting” tab in the voice command settings.
Turn voice commands on or off from a Zoom Rooms controller
- Voice commands are enabled by default if you have enabled them on the Zoom web portal.
- Using the Zoom Rooms controller, you can turn off voice commands for that workspace by tapping Voice Commands On.
- You can turn voice commands back on by tapping the same option.
- You can also turn these features on and off in Zoom Rooms meetings.
Note: - Meeting settings can only be changed by toggling the feature in Zoom Rooms.
