VDI backwards compatibility in the Zoom app
To get started, you need to download a VDI release version between 2.1.5 and 5.9.6. Just click on the version number in the list below to find out which plugins and applications are compatible with your version. For Zoom Phone Plugin versions 5.5.3 or later, select plugins support Zoom Phone for VDI.
If you want the plugin version to be compatible with Zoom VDI, it must be the same or lower than the version of the Zoom VDI application. There is no support for installing a plugin that is a higher version than the Zoom VDI application itself. Whenever you update the Zoom VDI application, Zoom always recommends updating the Zoom Plugin as well, as many new features require an updated version of the Zoom Plugin.
It should be noted that the VDI versions have roughly the same feature set as the core client versions listed in the same table. It must still be noted that the platforms differ in a few points.
