Note : The cost of call forwarding depends on your contract. If calls from landlines to mobiles are free in your contract, then call forwarding is usually free for you too.

FritzBox: Set up call forwarding

First, open the Fritzbox user interface. To do this, enter the IP address of the Fritzbox in the address bar of your browser, which is 192.168.178.1 by default . Here, enter the password for your Fritzbox. You have either set this yourself or, if you have not created a personal password, it is on the back of the Fritzbox.

Step 2:

Then go to ” Telephony ” in the menu on the left and then to ” Call handling “.

Step 3:

Under ” Call redirection ” enter the number to which the calls should be forwarded instead. Here under ” To destination number ” select the option ” Not in the phone book ” and you can then enter your smartphone number, for example.

Step 5:

Then select the option ” Automatic ” under ” Own phone number for forwarding ” . You can then save the call forwarding by clicking on ” Apply ” at the bottom right.

Step 6:

You then have to confirm the change. To do this, you can either call the string displayed on the screen using your home phone, or you can click on the blue link ” No phone? ” to simply press a button on your FritzBox instead.

Step 7:

If the confirmation was successful, click ” OK ” to complete the process.

Step 8:
