How to reset network in Windows 11

Reset network in Windows settings

1st step:
Open Windows Settings by using the keyboard shortcut (Windows) + (I). In the new window, click on ” in the list on the left, Network and Internet“.
Step 2:
Then select the option ” Advanced network settings “.
Step 3:
Here you click on ” Reset network “.
Step 4:
Here, click on ” Reset now “.
Step 5:
Then confirm the process by clicking ” Yes “.
Step 6:
Windows will then reset the network drivers and inform you that the PC will restart in 5 minutes . The restart is to ensure that all changes are successfully made. Your network adapters will be automatically reinstalled when you restart. Since your network has been completely reset, you may need to reconnect to your network and allow firewall exceptions again.

Windows 11 has a command line tool that allows you to view, change and reset your computer’s network configuration.

1st step:
click on the Windows search bar and enter the term “command prompt“. Then click on ” in the right part of the search, execute as administrator“.
Step 2:
In the command prompt window, enter the following commands one after the other, each of which you execute with the [ Enter ] key:
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset all
- netsh whinhttp reset rpoxy
- ipconfig /flushdns
Step 3:
After you have executed all the commands, restart your PC. To do this, click on the Windows icon at the bottom left and then on the power icon at the bottom right in the start menu. Then select the ” Restart ” option.
