How to Start Video Conference in Microsoft Teams?
We’ll show you how to start a video call in Microsoft Teams.
Teams is a meeting tool from Microsoft that allows you to create groups with different participants. Within these groups, you can chat via text or take part in video conferences. Below we will explain how you can create and start such a video conference.
Start video conference in Microsoft Teams
Step 1:
You can easily start a video conference in Microsoft Teams: Select a channel from the list on the left . Then click either directly on the camera symbol in the top right or on the arrow next to it and then on ” Meet now “. This is how you create a channel in Teams.
Step 2:
If you want, you can add a short subject at the top of the call . This way, your team will know the topic of the meeting straight away. You can also adjust audio and video settings before the meeting. To start the meeting, you must click on ” Join now “. As soon as the call is in progress, all participants from the Teams channel will receive a notification. This way they can decide whether they want to join the video conference.
During the meeting, you can also select whether you want your camera to be switched on or off at the top. If you have multiple cameras connected, you can select which camera you want to use by clicking on ” Camera ” on the right. Here you can also select face filters, for example .
